Who is Victoria Lily Shaffer?
Victoria Lily Shaffer is the founder of Pup Culture Rescue, a 501c3 dog rescue committed to saving and rehabilitating dogs in need. Operating out of a vibrant 4,000-square-foot space in Pasadena, Pup Culture Rescue has adopted out over 1,000 dogs and puppies. The rescue is a direct reflection of Victoria’s warm, energetic spirit. Her mission goes far beyond rescue—she's building a community of dog lovers, advocating for adoption, and creating a welcoming space where every dog has a chance at a better life.
Alongside her rescue work, Victoria is no stranger to the entertainment industry, which she uses to amplify her advocacy. Victoria grew up on the set of Late Show with David Letterman shadowing her father, Paul Shaffer. Victoria went on to produce the 10-part reality series Extra Innings for Facebook Watch, featuring Bill Murray, and has worked behind the scenes on high-profile shows including the Tony Awards, Emmy Awards, Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, HBO’s Divorce, and Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman. She also previously hosted Tails of the City on Pet Life Radio, which streamed on iHeartRadio and is available on Audible, gaining over 30k listeners.
A natural storyteller, Victoria uses her platforms—including YouTube and Instagram—to raise awareness about responsible dog parenting and inspire people to adopt a dog. Her social media offers a behind-the-scenes look at the day-to-day life of a dog rescuer, often featuring heartwarming stories of her newest foster pups and giving all sorts of doggy tips and tricks.
